Activities
Our Main Objectives
- To improve the food security and nutrition for HMP and other Vulnerable Groups (HMP&OVG).
- To empower and to strengthen the capacity of HMP&OVG for creating their own jobs and employments and for increasing and diversifying the source of income.
- To promote the education of HMP’s children.
- To promote the access to justice, the respect of the human rights and citizen participation of HMP&OVG in national social protection &poverty reduction programs.
- To promote the participation of HMP&OVG in protection and management of environment.
HCDO has developed three strategies 2022-2035 to attend its mission
Strategy One
Social and economic empowerment program: It aims to empower the HMP&OVG with 4 priorities:
(1) Food security and food production systems,
(2) Economic growth,
(3) Women’s empowerment and
(4) Youth empowerment.

Strategy Two
Enjoying human rights and Justice Program: It aims to defend, to protect and to promote the respect of human rights for HMP&OVG through by 7 priorities:
(1) Awareness and capacity building on fundamental human rights,
(2) Access to justice,
(3) Women’s rights,
(4) Access to land rights,
(5) Education for HMP&OVG’s children,
(6) Inclusion and benefiting the national social protection programs
(7) Inclusion and benefiting the implementation of the recommendations of regional and international mechanisms for HR
